ABOUT THE BUILDING

The White House is modern and designed to the highest standard including a heated swimming pool, outdoor spa and table tennis. Views of beautiful countryside can be enjoyed from almost every window in the house, so even in the colder time of year, you can enjoy the wonderful nature.

It’s luxurious bath- and shower rooms offer all you could ever hope for and all towels and linen is, of course, provided. You will enjoy cooking in the fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops and cooking island. The large living room has an open fire and views to the open countryside, a large plasma TV and DVD.

The White House has a wonderful orangery, perfect for entertaining and dinner parties. We welcome smaller parties in the house and larger outside in the garden or a tent in the field, and we are happy to provide you with our extensive list of professional party- and wedding suppliers.

THE LOCAL AREA

There are great shopping possibilities only minutes away by car and fantastic Cotswold dining pubs and restaurants in all directions, as well as local attractions and shops.

WHEN TO GO

The Cotswolds are great to visit whatever the time of year. In late spring the flowers are out, the fields are full of green crops and it isn’t too busy. July and August is English school summer holidays and peak tourist season so the Cotswolds tends to be at its busiest. It is easy to escape the crowds though by hiking a short distance from the roads. September can be lovely but is slightly less picturesque as it is after harvest and many of the fields will be brown. It is great for wild blackberry picking though. And the winter is perfect for winter walks and settling down by a roaring fire.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds yet easy to get to. The central location means that junction 11a on the M5 is only 25 miles away to the west and Oxford is around 35 miles to the south-east.
